SYNCANO 2.0: Accelerating software development, empowering rapid innovation

Effective and rapid software development is crucial for competitiveness. However, the friction between backend (the part running in the background) and front-end development (what users see and interact with) is slowing down the innovation process in software development. DevOps tools are useful because they automate some parts of the process, enabling market validation to be done and adapted faster with fewer resources. Finding adequate developers is a challenge due to a growing and fragmented offer, and talent shortages in the IT sector. Syncano is a complete NoOps platform that utilises reusable building blocks code and automation tools to boost the innovation speed for software developers, software development houses and software consulting firms, reaching 80% shorter time-to-market and 70% lower development costs compared to any other solution. Syncano 2.0 digitalises software development from business necessities to product requirements and specification using a machine-readable language, and helps solving talent shortages and headhunting in the SW development sector. To ensure a successful commercialisation by Q4 2021 we have planned several activities: Technical objectives include the development of the new Syncano Socket Registry, the multicloud and on-premise configurations, the Syncano FLOW to structure requirements and specifications, and link to the Syncano Registry and the Marketplace, an online catalogue of third-party components and the meeting point with the Syncano developer community. Syncano will be validated in 3 pilots with SW consulting firms and companies developing their own SW. Commercial objectives include GDPR and security audits, the development of commercialisation activities, and the consolidation of the developer community through specialised events. By the end of 2024, we plan to have 9,000 paying subscriptors worldwide, with sales of €7 million, cumulated revenue of 13.3 million, cumulated EBITDA of €8.6 million, and an ROI of 2.2.
